  • What are FACT Packs?

    FACT Packs are one-gallon sized bags containing a child-friendly, non-perishable breakfast, lunch and snack for each day school is not in session. It is DISCREETLY placed into the backpack of each participating student on Friday or last day of school before break.  FACT Packs are intended for students experiencing hunger outside of school.

    Example Pack

    • 2 Breakfast: Cereal & Oatmeal
    • 2 Lunches: Easy Mac & green beans, Tuna Salad, crackers & cheese stick
    • 2 Snacks:  Apple sauce & sunflower kernels, Goldfish crackers & raisins
  • Who is eligible?

    Any K-8 student IN A SCHOOL WE SERVE can receive FACT Packs if they are experiencing hunger outside of school.  Feeding Area Children Together does NOT receive government funding.  We do not verify income. Students do NOT need to qualify for free or reduced priced lunch. All data is confidential.

  • What if a child has a food allergy or dietary restriction?

    All FACT Packs are peanut-safe and pork-free. We will make every effort to accommodate a student’s particular needs so long as it is on file with the school nurse.

  • Will others know that a child receives FACT Packs?

    It is extremely important that all FACT Packs are distributed as discreetly as possible. We will not label bags or otherwise identify participants.

  • How can a child receive FACT Packs?

    Parents must fill out an enrollment form which can be found below or in the school office.

  • Can a student start or stop in the middle of the year?

    Enrollment can start or stop at any time. Or, any number of times during the school year. To cancel, contact the school office or email info@stcloudfact.org

  • Is every child in a family eligible?

    More than one child in a family may receive FACT Packs as long as they are a K-8 students in a school we serve.

  • What schools does FACT serve?

    As of 2021, we serve 12 schools across three school districts: St. Cloud-ISD 742, Sauk Rapids/Rice-ISD 47, and Sartell/St. Stephen-ISD 748.
